My dad was a strong man with a soft heart, he loved his family more than all else and hated being "poked and prodded" (both my dad and June's words) by drs and nurses. Dad didn't believe in mediums, ghosts, or anything supernatural (another point not missed by June), and some time into the session, June solidified my belief when explaining to me my dad would have left by now if it wasn't for his mum (my nanny) standing behind him making sure he stays.
That is exactly how my dad would have behaved if he was stood in the room with us, and my nanny would have ensured he stayed the course. It makes my heart warm each time I recall it as I can picture the scene so vividly. My dad, stubborn as ever declaring it to be "a load of *expletive*", and my nanny standing firm letting him know he's going nowhere. The mannerisms of my dad and nanny returned to the forefront of my mind.
Beyond June's gifts, which have provided me a great sense of peace, there is something about her as a person that has kept me replaying the experience on loop in my mind. June has a glow about her, an aura if you will, that I have rarely experienced. An angel of a woman with the most magically intriguing presence. Warm, caring, and somehow direct in the gentlest of ways, the entire session with June was a joy. I hope we cross paths again in the future.
