Predictions for Japanese TV

In 2015 a crew from the NTV Japan programme itte Q came to June's home in Scotland with the presenter Imoto Ayako. The programme had chosen 10 Japanese celebrities for her to read. June had never met them and knew nothing about them.

Working only from the photos on a board, she described their characters, health and personal lives, and ranked them from the most to the least successful for the year ahead. The surprise on the celebrities' faces is clear, even if you do not speak Japanese.

Sitting next to Imoto, June also told her about an impacted wisdom tooth that was troubling her.

Called a psychic detective

After her win, the STV website called June a psychic detective. On Ukrainian TV she had described a killer for the police, down to a tattoo on his right shoulder and some of the numbers on his number plate. He was caught the following year.

I didn’t set out to seek fame or send murderers behind bars.
